Hey good catch, I figured you had issues with reading (I'm typing on my phone and trying to do so at a bit of a speed so I can get back to more important things) but yes I misspelled that word. Maybe since you can understand spelling you just need a class on reading comprehension. I'm sure the local community center could hook you up, then when you finish with that, come back and reread my original statement that never once called you a liar but in fact was using your statement to prove a larger point

It doesn't matter. They can support it as it stands without them minimum requirements. They can put all their muscle behind it if they want to. They can run commercials, harass Representatives, ect.
But they won't. They won't support it as it stands because there is nothing in it for them. They have much to gain with this minimal requirement nonsense with their own training.

Bills get changed in committee to get the votes needed!

I don't know why all the "bitch slapping" each other. I'm just happy someone is making an effort against the SAFE Act. I've spent over 20 years in Free America before I came back home, just to find out that 90% of my firearms don't meet NYS requirements. So I had to leave them in another state and make do with a couple of "low cap" pretenders and a few bolt action rifles. Once or twice a year I get to visit my legally purchased and owned firearms when I go back. I get to watch as the rest of Free America buys the things we are denied by that slap down we got in the middle of the night. My Florida, Arizona and Pennsylvania permits were issued in weeks, but NY took months, even though I am an NRA instructor. Not to mention that even with those credentials, which allowed me to instruct and certify close to 3000 Brevard county residents in Florida for their FL permits, I have been told not to bother trying to be a Chautauqua county instructor. Hey how about that, no income for me . . . Ok rant over. Working on moving outta here in the mean time.

The camera guy for WGRZ Channel 2 was an obvious anti gun rights douchebag with questions he asked Collins.
One more thing: I got an aside with Collins afterwards, and asked him about HR38. He replied: what's that? (Here's a hint: you're one of 207 sponsors of the National Reciprocity Bill...). He replied that it is going nowhere because the NRA refuses to support it at all as it would need to set some minimum national standards, and they are totally against that according to him. Also, he said that restrictive states like NY and others would flip out over the prospect of people from states with very minimal requirements being able to come to highly restrictive states like NY and especially NYC and carry... So, I'm guessing that HR38 is pretty much worthless and only for show.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming...
