Excellent logic @Xae289. I agree with that analysis- where you're going to get jammed is where you yourself have declared it's a pistol.


Wasn't this in part thanks to Thompson Center and their Contender/Encore pistols?No. The ATF has made rulings that you can flip flop from pistol to rifle back to pistol again but not if it was first built into a rifle.
They do not have such rulings on firearm to pistol or pistol to firearm. That’s why I’m asking the question.
