I basically agree, although I struggle on legalization/use of hard drugs, because of the externalities that come with them. But if a crime is completely victimless, I agree it shouldn't be a crime. I guess there are situations where they pass laws that are theoretically for the public good, which may or may not be legitimate, and probably depend on consequence in my opinion. But at the same time, you end up with the slippery slope we see in the OP..

I'll take any win we can get, but this was ridiculous in the first place. "You can't buy a gun because you tinted your windows too dark." Like, what? That shouldn't be a misdemeanor in the first place, let alone bar you from owning a gun. But there's so much overlap in our laws that this is what happens...

Anything that can make a buck$ or take away your rights is fair game for those who are in power it's that way now and will continue to be why because our up and coming generation is being bred that way

Although maybe a slither of meeting the definition of a "victory"... This is the problem;

Scrutiny... Who the fuck is the court to decide? "Rights Granted" are not really "Rights"... Now of course that is out of context, but it's ok, the ridiculousness of the entire case should have some heads mounted on sticks entering the city...

Pulled over for window tint, but what got him was the forged document. Pretty stupid on his part, it appears he could have just gotten a new tint certificate with the correct vehicle.

Too many fall for the click bait without reading the actual facts . He may have been charged with forgery under other circumstances.
