Let’s give them a loan at say 21% not dischargeable by bankruptcy. We (everyone here) bailed out the auto industry. Why shouldn't GM be retrofitted and start manufacturing ventilators right now? Why shouldn't we make them do this, or start making masks? Or do we want to continue to just bail out industries and have them do nothing in return except get richer on our dime.
Not 100% sure, but I thought the auto industry already volunteered to do just thatWe (everyone here) bailed out the auto industry. I took it to mean that he reported me to the Federales.Just a heads up, when people say “reported” in a thread, they normally don’t. It tends to be a sarcastic response instead of a being waste of the Staff’s time by actually reporting something that doesn’t break the rules.
I'm kinda confused on what is actually supposed to happen on the national level.I think we’re getting to a point where drastic action needs to take place. Say what you will of me I don’t care but all Trump is doing is beating around the bush and making himself look stupid.
I know there was talks of it, but I'm not sure of the result. Do you have any references? Not 100% sure, but I thought the auto industry already volunteered to do just that
Probably going to get heat for this, but I actually thought for once in his rotten fucking life, Cuomo did something productive. I thought his response to this whole thing was probably his best move. I didn't disagree with anything he has done (that I know about) regarding this outbreak and the containment efforts related to it.
Doesn't mean that I like him, but I thought his response was acceptable.
Heard today that 3M sent 500k masks to NY, CA, and WA. That'll help a lot, as there's places using 1 mask all day, while some have none, and others are burning through 1000's a day. Black Button apparently set up their machines to make sanitizer somehow, I have no idea, but great to hear.
A lot of people who dislike him are saying the same thing. I feel like I need to shower after saying that though.
This makes so much sense and is very well said. The auto industry needs to go where demand is. Right now, demand is ventiliators. They want to keep from going under? Start making ventilators.
The airline industry has no passengers. Right now, we have a large demand to move packages. Start flying freight.
The restaurant industry has no one coming into their establishments to eat. Right now, we have a large demand for at-home delivery. Start delivering food.
Go where the market wants you to go, or you'll die from lack of change. Adapt.
I believe gm is doing just thatWe (everyone here) bailed out the auto industry. Why shouldn't GM be retrofitted and start manufacturing ventilators right now? 2 wrongs, and the glaring danger in doing so.We (everyone here) bailed out the auto industry. Why shouldn't GM be retrofitted and start manufacturing ventilators right now? Why shouldn't we make them do this, or start making masks? Or do we want to continue to just bail out industries and have them do nothing in return except get richer on our dime.
at the beginning I felt like they were being slow to respond to the virus while it was still oversees. (the government.) and globalism and all the traveling didnt help either. To all those saying "Gotta give credit to Cuomo", are you serious?
Se we are cool with this government takeover this quickly after an overreaction...that the government created?
Seriously?
If the efforts to stop fighting this ceased tomorrow, this would come and go like the standard flu.at the beginning I felt like they were being slow to respond to the virus while it was still oversees. (the government.) and globalism and all the traveling didnt help either.
I hate how most of the people in the U'S are indoctrinated by the state run schools. It is true that the virus is extremely dangerous, being it can cause permanant lung and testicle damage. But we could have stopped the virus from even getting here at all, or would have been better prepared to produce what we need to keep the virus under control if we didn't outsource our production to China. did you know the average Chinese citizen has a value of $800,000.00 Do you know why? That's the value of all of their organs. If the efforts to stop fighting this ceased tomorrow, this would come and go like the standard flu.
The focus on it is the reason for the hysteria.
And to say we need to be enacting wartime production acts!? Outrageous, but I guess some believe whatever the media tells them, while at the same time screaming "FAKE NEWS!", because daddy Trump said so.
I think you meant to say, nut?wut?
I think you meant to say, nut?
Learned something new. Thanks. Had to look that one up.Never mind the bollocks.
I have heard from a few sources that the virus causes permanent lung damage, and from a smaller lumber of sources that the virus cause testicular damage.wut?
