An interesting article within the New York Post outlines a phone call by an aide to NY Governor Andrew Cuomo who admitted to covering-up the statistics of deaths from nursing homes.

Cuomo’s administration was scared the DOJ would use the information to arrest them.

we’re out here grieving.

in my case, i filed 3 complaints with the state regulatory board – their report came back “not valid” (they were incontrovertibly valid.)
i contacted 2 attorneys, was told you won’t win (nursing homes were given blanket immunity against any “covid” related legal actions by the governor and state legislature here.)
requested records from the nursing home, they sent a 6 page ‘release form’ to fill out and required a copy of the death certificate, i assume as a heads up for their lawyers. yes, as a family member at minimum, i am entitled to those records by request alone, but who’s going to make them?

families have 2 years to file a wrongful death suit, so i’m guessing the nursing homes are just trying to run out the clock in case somebody with really deep pockets decides to press the issue.
the twist of the knife is that my loved one almost certainly did not pass from covid , but two secondary infections brought about by neglect during the lockdown, and failure to take appropriate medical action.
the covid ‘positive’ pcr was administered after the secondary infections
were established and probably was detecting the nasty influenza ‘b’ he was
in the nursing home to recuperate from to begin with.
however, with a ‘positive’ covid, the nursing home is instantly immunized from any accountability.
yes, i agree, raising a ruckus is in order.
problem is the deck was already stacked.
the nursing home industry gives big bucks to political allies to insulate themselves.
and guess what – it

With no provisions for recall or impeachment in New York, we're stuck with this pompous ass and his dictatorial method of governing.
