Interesting that he would say that. I would have expected him to hedge and be non-committal about 2020. He must be reading the tea leaves and sensing he would not be able to effectively compete against hillary, bernie, kamala and the other left wing nutjobs that are certainly going for it.

Of course he can change his mind in the future since he is a shameless liar. I imagine he will run for president at some point. After ruining new york he wants to destroy the rest of the country.

So a report came out a few weeks back that found out he or "his team" sent out information what his chances are for running for POTUS in 2020 to the Iowa dems and to recruit to start campaigning for him out there. Iowa is one of the important Democratic stats if you want to run for POTUS. His office denied it of course.

From what i figure the politic game is showing two things here:

1) The Iowa dems came back saying he is not a good candidate or no one wanted to help him.
2) He might make more enemies out of the NYS dems if it comes out to soon that he is going run and it might hurt his agenda for the next two years.

or

3) He didn't want god to strike him dead.

Thing is the DNC knows he is corrupt and out of touch with his state and has a shitty track record with poor spin artist to cover it up. Just because NYC elects you as Governor of NY doesn't mean that NYC can elect you as POTUS. I could be wrong but he just might have a tough time of it in the next four years here. He will get his dumb shit through the system but he will gather up to much bad publicity along the way.

How many politicians come out onto the stage and state unequivocally that they will not run. Most I would say. Then things magically change in a year or two.

I wouldn't be surprised if he runs in the primaries but I don't think he'll make it out of them. The Left Wing of the Democrat Party likes folks like Bernie. The more moderate wing wants Hillary badly. I would not be at all surprised if we had a Trump v Hillary round 2 or a Trump v Joe Biden.

The Democratic Party is in shambles at the moment the Far Left Socialist wing (Bernie, Occasional Cortex, Kamala Harris, et. al.) are trying to wrest control away from the Clintons, Bidens, and Pelosis. It's a political blood bath going on right now with the Left Eating their own. The only thing they have keeping them together is their unending hatred for Trump. When Trump eventually goes away (either in 2020 or 2024) they'll turn on each other like nothing else.

Meanwhile the GOP will sit on their asses and do nothing because they're all a useless pack of turds.
