Governor Andrew Cuomo announced in a statement yesterday his administration will be suing President Trump and the federal government for the failure to aid Puerto Ricans affected by Hurricane Maria last year where nearly 3,000 died according to the Government of Puerto Rico. Cuomo said Trump never tried to help the U.S. territory and called this decision illegal and unethical. The governor’s statement claims delayed action and lack of funding and resources as Trump’s neglect to assist Puerto Rico and cites 11,000 Puerto Ricans that relocated to New York State following being displaced by the hurricane.

Was it not Cuomo who took hurricane Sandy money? And did the wrong thing with it?


On the eve of the two year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino slammed Gov. Cuomo again for using federal Sandy money for TV commercials. "The fact that he swiped $37.5 million from hurricane relief funds for his own TV commercials should never be forgiven," Astorino said at a morning press conference in Manhattan. "He should return it."

This is what I am saying. NYS has no standing to sue. How was NYS in anyway injured by what happened with Puerto Rico?

The allegation itself is utterly without merit! Blatantly untrue and easily proven to be such.

Fuckface is so obviously guilty of massive, blatant and severe corruption, why the hell can't the Federal government do something about that?
In the case of little lord fuckpants andy nuts, I would completely overlook the grave constitutional implications if Trump had dipfuck, inbred, toilet born, cuomo asshat Osama'd. I'd totally let that slide.

The feds should've stepped in a long time ago to investigate bill of rights violations. If the union refuses to uphold the bill of rights, then there is actual union of states on anything other than economic grounds. There are only regional warlords left if the fed doesn't do it's job.

The Federal Govt, ie. the people of these United States GAVE them a shit ton of money and food and water and hundreds of pieces of equipment to help with the cleanup.

This is just one more reason to cut PR loose. Let them be their own entity like they were in the past. We get nothing from them in return for all we give them. They need the US; the US does not need them.
