First of all... How does the Cuomo administration even have standing to sue the Trump administration for something that has nothing to do with his state?

No lawyer worth his salt would ever take such a thing seriously...

I'm wondering if he's trying to use the supposed 11000 PR residents who relocated to NY as a "burden" and justification.
Either way, a judge is going to look at him and laugh.

but it also makes me wonder. Can We The People sue Mr Congenitally Stupid for his treatment of New Yorkers, specifically those of us Upstate?

Sure they would. It's a huge payday. And won't be paid for by cuomo but will be funded by you. Of course it's stands no chance if it ever really did make it to some court. You know it, cuomo knows it. But the point is he's "doing something". It's a painfully transparent attempt to capture the hispanic vote in the upcoming election. But as dumb as so many people in the city are, they can't see the forest for the trees. It will almost assuredly never get to court but that will be all the buzz all the way up until and shortly after election. Kind of like lock her up.

I've said before has too be building some type of resort on the island and pretty sure he's been enveloped in the financial crisis between the corrupt politicians and wall street bankers his wheels have been part of the lubrication typical demacrati system destruction and then rebuild even if it's worse than what you started with

Cuomo is just doing this for cheap political points. One of his statements was "In Katrina, they were incompetent in their response. In P.R. they never tried. They never tried. I worked in the federal government under Bill Clinton for 8 years, I did the emergency management, I know what this country could do."

Then he absolutely knows about NIMS, the National Response Framework, and the Stafford Act. In a large emergency, it is the LOCAL governments who are responsible for leading the recovery efforts. The responsibility of the federal government is to provide financial, technical, and logistical SUPPORT to the local governments. They are NOT the lead agencies unless specifically requested or criminal jurisdiction is asserted.

This shit is Emergency Management 101.
