Sorry boys this phone posting is new to me!
HST is the best stuff in my opinion. It even partially expanded at 440 yards. Yes 440 yards!I guess its the HST data I'm going off of. Its amazing how consistent that stuff is! Don't matter what caliber, don't matter how heavy or how fast, don't matter what the barrel is, if it stays HST on the box, buy it and call it good. Shoots nice n clean too.
Since that ammo is owned by the tax payers please send it to me so I can distribute it correctly.
Well whatever logic was used the end point is sound, gun wise anyway. 9mm really seems to be where it's at right now. Ammo wise, well it's obvious what I think should used.I was told they chose the 19 becaus they wanted 9mm and thought it was a better choice for use indoors (court rooms ect). When the officers here were county they had issued glock 22's. When the state took over the courts they had to buy the 19. I was told the state thinking was the 9mm penetrated less and would be safer for use in court rooms (by standers ect). So they chose 9mm for that reason. Then they Let the officers go out and buy any 147 gr jhp. They could buy some garbage that clogs everytime and acts like a fmj. Does not really make sense to me.

I used to get that in the Army too, same response as well. And as a single male I don't catch no tax breaks neither, I subsidize everyone!I pay taxes too!
I pay taxes too!
All joking aside, I got caught.
In the Bronx, we shot against cardboad backings with a ton of targets stapled to them, so the "perfect" holes from my plated cheapies weren't obvious. When I transferred, the range I attend changed, and now I am shooting at hanging paper which causes the bullet holes to be very different depending on the ammo used. The Gold Dots make little star-shaped holes as opposed to my plated bullets making perfect little circles.
I got caught the very first time I went and called out, but the instructor didn't puah the issue. They are all cops and I am not, so I'm sure that helped.
