Maybe I shouldn't be, but I'm into folders. Probably because I'm white collar unfortunately.
Nothing wrong with a good folder. And like you said if you've got to wear a tucked-in shirt then you don't really have the ability to carry a fixed blade.Maybe I shouldn't be, but I'm into folders. Probably because I'm white collar unfortunately.
Well I am not a lawyer, but here's my take. If you ever ended up using the knife in a self-defense situation I am sure the prosecutor would have a field day with the designed intent of that knife.Been on the search for awhile now too. Need a folder for same reasons. I asked in another thread but got no answer. Anyone know if there are legal issues if blade style is aggressive looking and knife is designed for self defense vs other more conservative blades. Would having certain ones be considered concealed weapons?

Tops has nice knives, and I love blades between 4 and 5 inches. But the knife I'm looking for really should have a blade at two-and-a-half to three inches.

For me, I'm looking for a knife I can wear horizontally on my belt at the 11 o'clock position and that should be reasonably concealed under a t-shirt.

I actually really like that. Out of all those Customs I listed I really want to get the lucky 13, but it is $200 and that's a lot of scratch. I always look at it as if that's halfway to a new gun, or close to it at least.

I would, although it may have to be carried vertically on my belt. Everywhere that doesnt have a metal detector.Yes but can you carry that gun everywhere you go?
Lol, ya know... i knew this thread was gonna get to you when i posted it.

Yeah, unfortunately, it doesn't take much. Now I'm gonna end up with 6 new knives by tomorrow!
Boredom seems to strike you in the off season brother.
I disagree with that. If it's assisted as the website states it's not illegal. I bought a Kershaw and thought it was illegal. I asked my dad who's a Col and he said no it's not illegal because you have to start the opening yourself. Also it does not qualify as a gravity knife because the spring is opening it. Only concern I have with the knife you described is it looks like a button on the handle opens it. So that may have been the issue. If the thumb studs open it I can't see it being illegal. Also doubled edged knives being illegal never made sense to me.I was once told by a trooper that my SOG Ti Flash II was illegal. "Lucky" I was in uniform and he let me go. It was during a traffic stop and he saw it in my console.
He's FOS though. Typical argument of it being an automatic knife vs assisted opening.
I guess concealed is concealed LOL.
Pretty much all of them to be honest. I don't carry anything under 10" anymore because it defeats the purpose for me. I'd be lying if I said yours didn't look really cool though. What knife are you referring to?
