Agreed, but without a charismatic leader a platform will have a hard time gaining traction. In this case, there is a platform, Traditional American Patriotism, and Trump has beathed life into that. He may not be ideal, but may be a solid option.. although Im no expert on these things. Im just a patriotic Constitutionalist.

I would define it as one that has expressed anti gun views openly and/or helped pass laws limiting what types of arms the citizenry can use.
