I check out DU every once in a while.

The members there should get on a short bus and take a ride to the planet Reality. Where the normal people live, where the smart people live. Where facts matter and feelings are irrelevant.

Besides that, the formatting on DU sucks.

Nice alter ego Carlitos, I appreciate the consistent focus of all things grammar.

I've been hearing more about Lefty's arming back up again with a renewed interest in stocking up on guns ammo and training. All jokes aside, I would take it seriously. Even if they may not be as skilled or proficient they might be more committed to their causes and mentally unstable enough to actually follow through on their delusions. It's a real concern. Be alert. They have embraced victim mentality and they are perceiving themselves as victims that have to stand up to a bully to protect others freedoms and rights. We clearly don't agree with their perspective, but the fact remains that's how they see the world through their delusional lens and echo chambers. We should take them at their word.

The left doesn't have a monopoly on bullying other people is the thing. Never fully trust one side. Both are intolerant in different, ignorant ways. It's just the zealots that are blind to it.

You're not wrong. But the left is much more likely to act upon it.

When was the last time the right shot up a Democrat politician softball game or tried to assassinate a Democrat politician? Or randomly attack people for wearing Biden hats in public? The hate and violence is more likely to flow in one direction than the other. That was my point. Just trying to keep things in perspective.

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion or stating it, but you have to be ready to defend that position. I ask you, what would happen ifI posted a diatribe of pro Trump/Republican rhetoric on DU? Actual Facts as verified and not subjective opinions disguised as truths are hard to negate, but someone will always find some way to justify their position rather than ever admit they were or might have been wrong. The Left has a propensity to exaggerate and come off as pseudo-offended if it's not what they want to hear, conversely although fewer, there are those on the Right acting in the same butt-hurt manner.
I catch a lot of shit from this Forum when offering support for the NRA and/or NYSRPA and it's Supporters, but not doing so leaves the wrong impressions or thoughts unchallenged, cementing their notions irrespective the accuracy.

I don't go to that site but I have gone on facebook a few times since the election just to watch the idiots self identify. I discovered that a guy I used to work with, one of the hardest working people I know, is an absolute leftist lunatic. He posted that he is going to write to the southern law poverty center to sue the republicans and take all their money away because they are just like the KKK.

It is astonishing to realize just how deranged people can be.

I appreciate different perspectives and points of view. Not everyone has to think the same but there really is good and bad and right and wrong.

I don't condone any unprovoked attacks on anyone.

with the threats from the loony left, I would definitely go to the range and practice MY DRAW. I can hit what I aim at, but getting the gun out of the holster and on target in less than a half second could be a challenge with concealed carry. We can open carry out here, AND MANY people do. Oddly, Im very comfortable to be around law abiding people open carrying. I went to the Quartzite RV Tent show open carrying, NO ONE BATTED AN EYE, its pretty common out here. And there had to be 1000 to 1500 people there. no one cares.

The good news is that they are finally discovering the idea of the 2A.

They may be off their rocker on everything else, but many of them may suddenly discover why letting your government disarm you is a bad idea.
