Depends entirely on the policy they've got.

Smokers pay extra for health insurance, but they still get covered for lung cancer for instance.


The government needs to GTFO the insurance industry, reintroduce competition, and let the market decide how much a risky behavior is "worth" in extra premiums.

It was a sarcastic/rhetorical question. Being from DU they are implying that neither government OR private insurance should cover costs if someone contracts covid but didn't get vaccinated. I'm willing to bet they don't feel the same about all the other vaccinations that you can get and most likely many of them skip. Like the flu vaccine for instance. They may not get it but feel their insurance should still cover it if they contract it. I was just pointing out their hypocrisy and that covid isn't special.

I decided almost 48 years ago God put me here and in spite of my stupidity kept me here for a purpose, one that I believe I will know when the time comes, then all the guidance, training, and paths will make sense....I'm in no hurry to die or aiming to get killed, but not worried when it happens.

Created jobs? Or re-filled jobs that were vacated by COVID panic and government shutdowns? Just about everywhere I go customer service is down due to short staffing because individuals are still collecting $300 government tit COVID bonus.

Inflation is up and my 401K/IRA are just about flatlined.
