Democrats Blamed After U.S. Steel Cancels $1.5B Project in Pennsylvania
Executives with the U.S. Steel Corp. announced days ago that they are canceling a $1.5 billion project in western Pennsylvania that was set to bring thousands of middle-class union jobs to the region, a move that many are now blaming on Democrats and environmental groups.


On April 30, U.S. Steel President David Burritt announced that a $1.5 billion project to majorly improve its Mon Valley Works operation with state-of-the-art steel casting, rolling technology, and a cogeneration plant is being canceled.
Republicans and others in Pennsylvania are now placing blame on Democrats and their allies in the environmental lobby for creating a hostile business environment that helped kill off the job-creating project.


State Sen. Kim Ward (R-PA) wrote in a series of posts that Allegheny County officials had kowtowed “to the extreme environmental groups without actually looking at the facts or consider the fall out.”

Will this country survive to make it to another election cycle...We soon could have massive inflation .. Perhaps hyper inflation.... Shortages everywhere... Buying some batteries have turned into a headache for me... (ATV,tractor ) ... NPR had a fellow talking about how relying on gas in texas will cause another winter disaster .... Wind power is the answer. ... (these folks have a one track mind ) I believe he said they are going to ban gas being installed in new homes ... Some countries have banned wood stoves in europe... ... A heads up for you folks .. Get a stove while you can .

I think we will survive another election cycle but I’m not sure much will change after that. I think the democrats are waiting to seize their opportunity to act and it’s coming soon. I’m not sure how much elections will mean going forward. I think people being out of work for environmental reasons is our only hope honestly. That’s really all I meant.

I have a prediction that they will allow all these immigrants(illegal or legal) and refugees into the USA. They will pass a law that they can all vote by simple majority after packing the Supreme Court. I have a prediction that the Supreme Court will then rule that the constitution says we the people not we the citizen and anyone on usa soil will be able to vote. Then we’re fucked. That it folks.

Oh and inflation is coming and has already come. We’re at inflation and the feds already want to increase the interest rate. Of course they say it’s because the economy is booming so fast but I h ent seen that and doubt that’s true. Of course 6% gain is great or so they say but if it was rock bottom 6% isn’t much. Of course the economy will grow. I can’t believe the government spending and plans. Seems Munchin might be our moderate savior but maybe he will die soon who knows.

You forgot the wonderful jobs in the wind turbine industry - bullshit shoveling, turbine blade recycling specialist (bury dat shit, bitch!), wind turbine fire control specialist, wind turbine materials acquisition specialist (figure out how to get the raw materials for wind turbines with wind as the only energy source), wind turbine process control specialist (figure out how to make wind turbines from mythical materials using non-existent wind turbine energy).

And the really big one - alternate power internment specialist - you get to cremate or bury all the people that will die because of mythical energy sources. Others duties include caring for insane environmentalists who will lose their shit when wind and solar don't work.
