I would guess that those who don’t get vaccinated but are susceptible will continue to wear them. Those that think them fashionable, will as well.
As much as I hate the term, The New Normal, I think that masks are here to stay for quite some time. Lots of Masktards that think they actually make a difference.
You are going to have those people that think, if not Covid, something else. We live among cowards and sheep. Day by day, more people come out of their homes and fall into the sky is falling crowd.

Seems to me that the body is continually updating, and upgrading your immune system every time you touch, breath, eat something that it senses is potentially harmful to it. With all the sanitizing going on I think some people will have no immunity against something as simple as the common cold. Down the road there will be a price to pay.

Seems to me you are correct. BTW, this is also what happens with the overuse and abuse of antibiotics. Pathogens mutate to survive and the drugs become less and less effective over time. Super bugs are created as a result. We create our own Frankenstein so to speak.

Will one does not have to have a Noticeable fever, fever at all or feel/ appear sick to be symptomatic. The bathrooms in bars and restaurants may be the main vector. Add to it kids share drinks, food And pass the doobie around etc.

That’s my point. Asymptomatic realistically speaking is just a word with no relevance in the real world. If one has been infected and has no symptoms whatsoever and is officially asymptomatic and if one just has a non noticeable fever at 99 degrees or an occasional sneezing fit that one attributes to allergies, they are all one in the same who do not believe themselves to be sick. Both will go to a bar in Florida because they are open for example or on a subway train here.
Some like many members here will not wear a mask because fuck the gubmint and when they have the occasional sneeze or cough that may hit them perhaps 4 times a day, all their expelled bodily fluids hit the air to be inhaled by someone else if they are close to them or to land on a surface instead of the majority being contained in the mask to be touched by someone else.

Because you live far away from the hot zones. I know of no one from upstate that caught it but know of many with ties to the city either via living there or working there that have caught it.
It’s a simple concept to understand. In the beginning no one in NYC knew of anyone that had caught it except those that went to China.

Well it’s very well may if...
1. Not many from your area travel to NYC or vice versa.
2. Those that do, protect themselves with PPE, the washing of hands, and distancing from others.
Here’s how it works since it needs to be explained to you. I work in the city. I live in a condo complex about an hour and a half north of the city. I haven’t infected anyone in my complex since I took precautions to limit my chances of infection, haven’t gotten infected yet, and if I do encounter others in my complex, we keep our distance.

But if you're going to do it, then wear a mask that's actually going to be effective.
Anything else (and nearly every mask anyone is wearing is utterly useless for this) is just virtue signaling.
You can get masks and filters that are actually tested and proven to work for this sort of application. So, if you're really worried, why aren't you using one of them ?

But I’m sure a man as intelligent as yourself can see that if droplets do escape a mask they will travel a lesser distance than unimpeded shot straight out the mouth with force to reach farther distances. I’m sure you are intelligent enough to know that when walking by someone and keeping a distance, that can be the difference between the droplets or aerosols (which are smaller droplets) reaching you and you becoming infected or not.If you're going to wear a mask to protect yourself, that's fine.

Welcome. Nice first post. We have discussed this ad nauseum. I respectfully disagree with many of your inaccurate and emotional points related to health and mask wearing. Also never said this virus was a fake, a hoax and nobody is dying. Yes, many non gun owners feel the same way as I do so it really has nothing to do with guns owners giving anyone a bad name. Finally, I fail to see how this stance on the scamdemic has anything to do with having to deal with the UnSafe Act. Anyway, carry on.
