There is a case in California, I think, of a woman suing Walmart for the same thing. She is on oxygen and has other breathing issues.

She was denied access to the store and is now Suing under the American with Disabilities Act.

Some legal experts say she has a decent case..

Their business their rules. Same as a nursing home. You would be denied entrance into a nursing home if you pulled that crap to visit someone even if you legitimately had asthma.

As far as crap, crap is crap. My wife, sister, and mother have asthma. Asthma pump , home nebulizer, and everything. They can wear a mask for 30 or so minutes while entering a store.

And regarding other diseases, no other disease has wiped out multiple nursing homes like this one has had. The flu, colds, etc. So is it a nothing burger? No.

If the businesses were making these rules on their own you would be correct.

But when the government is extorting them by threatening to pull their business licenses if they don't enforce rules that the government doesn't have the authority to impose on their own it is an entirely different thing.

I know there are many businesses that don't give a crap about masks, but are deathly afraid that the government will shut them down if they don't sufficiently support the fraud.

I have asthma. My doctor recommends that I wear a mask. I'm a cancer survivor. Over 35 years ago I got shot in the chest and it severely damaged my left lung. Covid could give me some really nasty problems. So I wear a mask.

In the meantime the country remains to be shut down because the covid is infecting the population. People are getting sick and people are dying. Yeah 99.whatever% don't get it or live. But, The politicians aren't going to open things up until things get better. And some people want to open up the country. But they don't want to do a minor thing to help stop the spread. Like wearing a mask.

I get that you don't care about me. That's fine. I mean nothing to you. Don't wear a mask. Great. Keep bitching about the businesses that can't open. Keeping complaining about the economy and the lost jobs. Yup, don't wear a mask. And when Trump loses the White House in November because he didn't wear a mask (among other things) you can bitch about that too.

Love to stick around and argue some more, but I have a virtual funeral to go to today. A friend, in his 50's in great health, until this. In shape, no underlying problems. Died on a vent, alone with no one by his side because his family had to stay away.

I do not wear the mask. I am not sick. I do not have Covid. The mask does very little anyway.

It is not my responsibility to look after others. If you are sick, ill or more likely to catch this little virus, stay the fuck home. Others are not my concern in regards to their catching this thing or not.

An interesting observation on my part... IMO

When the rioting in some major cities was going on. The medias coverage of COVID 19 petered out somewhat
as they were on the rioting almost 24/7. At that point, over the next 2 weeks, I noticed more and more people in the stores without a mask on their face. I didn't stick out as "that guy" as much anymore.

Then, the rioting petered out and the media was back 24/7 with COVID 19.
Then, I started to notice more people started wearing a mask again...

Propaganda works... I watched it work in real time.
