I just got back from the convenience store a little while ago.
At the store, a lady standing in line behind me commented on the fact that I don't have mask on.
I told her the only person that can make me wear a mask is my boss. And that's only because he is the guy who pays me.
She said that she hates wearing a mask. So I told her to take it off then. But she didn't.
Some people just don't want a confrontation with an emotional scared masked Karen.
So they wear a mask themselves to avoid the BS... I suppose my wife would fit into that category.

Well since most every time I'm out in public I'm armed, I do my best to AVOID confrontations. This includes not wearing any shirts with gun symbols, wearing a mask when indoors (but not outdoors), not getting into arguments with people and basically being the grayest "Gray Man" I can be.
I may not like it, but sometimes it's best to stay anonymous.
Good points, but I will not submit to something scientifically proven to not be effective for the sake of complying with Cuomo. Me carrying a gun does not negate my other rights. Challenge me to the point where I have a reasonable fear for my life and suffer the consequences. Zero fucks given.

Virus don’t fly on their own. So that micron nonsense is just what it is. Nonsense. They attach themselves to moisture that are much bigger than the micron you quoted. That’s been explained multiple times already.I won't wear a mask.
If a store has a policy that I must wear a mask, I'll shop someplace else. It's that simple.
For enlightened people, here is some simple math.
1) A "micron" is a unit of measurement - it is one millionth of one meter, or roughly 1 / 25,000 of 1 inch.
The micron rating of the average mask you see people wearing is 3 microns, meaning anything smaller than 3 microns can pass through the opening.
The virus you're worried about is 0.125 microns.
The hole in your mask is 24 times larger than the virus.
Wearing a mask to stop the virus is roughly the equivalent of putting up a single fence post every 20 feet (with nothing in between) to keep rabbits out of your vegetable garden.
Maybe it's time for people to accept the idea that you will either get sick or you won't, and if you get sick, you'll either die or you won't.
The good news is, the math proves you are highly unlikely to get sick and even if you do get sick, you are highly likely to recover.

These people here don’t give a flying fuck about anyone else due to ignorance. They have no idea what it’s like. I hope they never find out. I know of 3 personally that died from this. A 4th also but I only knew of him. Guys like most here in their late 40’s and 50’s. Blue collar workers that work with their hands.
My cousin’s father also battled this for months. He’s still hasn’t fully recovered. Developed COPD from the pneumonia that was a result of the infection.
But thank God the virus hasn’t gotten the ignorant here. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. You never know how hard it will hit you. A supervisor of mine was on a ventilator and he was fit as a fiddle. He carried work out bands in his backpack and ate right. Didn’t smoke or anything.

A little late to the party. I guess I look at it like "No firearms allowed." They can choose to make that so and I can choose to not shop there. I also see this is turning into the mask thread on here that had seemed to die out so to speak. For those still buying into this scamdemic, well, not much to say at this point that hasn't already been said. I will just add these points:
1. Don't trust the government especially those in blue states.
2. Don't trust the media.
3. Don't trust the drug companies.
4. Don't trust Fauci, Gates, etc..
5. Healthy people don't die from this virus. I don't care how healthy YOU think they might have been.
6. Masks today the vaccine tomorrow.
7. Doesn't matter what hoops you jump through to comply the goal posts will constantly be moved.
8. Many people are sheep that don't critically think.
9. I just want to be left alone.
10. Most of this country is unhealthy.
11. If Trump really believed in the mask thing he would have federally mandated it. Talk is cheap.
12. For the most part people aren't going to change.
13. We are fucked.

Someone wearing a paper or cloth mask would not negate the death, scientifically. It may have made someone feel warm and funny however.
Very cute but also wrong. Firearms owner or carrier is not a protected class of people under the ADA federal law. Heath conditions and disabilities are however.

Good news @GOPerfect. I posted this previously but worth the repeat. If you have no symptoms but have been exposed you are not a threat to others. No need for the masks. If you are vulnerable please take care of yourself though.

Initially before more was learned and the science caught up to it. Now they say it is almost never transmitted form asymptotic people. They say masks are not needed. They say distancing is not necessary. Catch up. See the numerous video proofs posted here.
