That's what I had to do.Get a smith and Wesson 500 and call it close enough.
That’s a very intimidating revolver. Just out of curiosity how is it to shoot? That's what I had to do.

When was the last time you did any shooting? Because this very old video of yours is so much more entertaining than most of what else you post here. Personally I would like to see more .500 Magnum antics.
Don't hate what you lost. When was the last time you did any shooting? Because this very old video of yours is so much more entertaining than most of what else you post here. Personally I would like to se more .500 Magnum antics.
I see my somewhat polite entreaty for you to stop posting crap and produce something relevant and entertaining to a gun forum had gone unheeded.Don't hate what you lost.
Appreciate the time you had.

Can anyone explain the reason I cannot own a Desert eagle full size 44 ? I cannot grasp the reasoning behind the weight and removable magazine making this an assault weapon ! SMH!!
The reason is Cuomo and Co's unSAFE act. The reasoning is so unreasonable, it's a waste of time to talk about it. Just get the .50!!
For some reason the safe act caps pistol weights at 50 oz if I’m not mistaken. The hell of I know why this is a rule.
There are full size DE eagles that are under 50oz and legal in NY state. I figured some members would have them by now as stated already. They actually look pretty badass with the machined out sections of the slide. Way cooler than a revolver.
Pretty much.I see my somewhat polite entreaty for you to stop posting crap and produce something relevant and entertaining to a gun forum had gone unheeded.
Terrible idea.California says they are OK ! NY rules are too generic, there are always some exceptions . There should be a list of weapons that would be exempt. IMHO

It’s because they require micro stamping now which no gun company is going to do. The list gets smaller every year because of this. There’s at least one big lawsuit going on for this currently.
Here is how to get a gun approved in California
Design Safety Standards for Handguns in California | Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence
Quoting from that page about micro stamping now being a requirement for a “safe” gun:
Due to a law that became effective January 1, 2010, new models of semiautomatic pistols sold in California are required to have microstamping technology integrated into the pistol design, or the handgun will be deemed an “unsafe handgun.”15 For more information on this groundbreaking technology, see our Microstamping/Ballistic Identification in California section.
Yeah but it's not in .50AE
The L5 is the .357mag and .44mag which is cool and all and comes in just under 50oz. But sadly if you want .50AE that is the L6 and it is at 55 or 56oz so no go in NY
