I have several Mora stainless knives with my ultra light gear. It was nice to see the carbon steel myth blown out of the water. The moral of the story in a prepper/survival situation would be to try anything and doing nothing is not good. Kind of embarrassed to think I never tried anything else with the ferro rod.
