.40 S&W
I feel retarded asking this but I just got a new gun a few weeks ago, FN 509. I haven’t had a chance to shoot it but handling it the other night I noticed that the trigger, which has a safety hinge, sort of like M&P Shield, can easily be moved forward when the gun is uncocked. To be more specific, by pushing the back of the trigger pretty lightly I can get it to move forward as if fully cocked.
I grabbed one of my Glocks and was able to do the same (though it took a lot more effort). Is this normal and just something I’ve never noticed? I’ve always liked that you can look at a Glock and get a cursory idea of whether it’s cocked or not by the trigger being forward versus back. Seems like this FN won’t have that same “feature”.
