If they are dressed Frumpy they are probable carrying! I had to give up my designer jeans, That's what I tell them in the County Pistol Safety Class, LOL!!!

Don't look for it at all and couldn't care less.
9 times out of 10 I dont even remember myself carrying. It becomes second nature like having your wallet in your pocket.
I am reminded that I am carrying when I sit in the car and I get a jam in the hip or drop my pants when using the bowl.

Not really legal, kinda? I carry like that on a regular basis. I am to the point of just not carrying any more. No one seems to care or even look, if someone does notice that I am armed, most, I would imagine, think I am on the job. If I get stopped and questioned by LE, I just show my ID.

As for the OP, I am always looking around at other people, sometimes for this reason, most times because I dislike and distrust my fellow man, so I am always on the look out for everything around me.

My curiosity is less based on suspicion or anticipation of someone about to do harm and just more about having become aware of concealment and the challenges involved with doing it properly. I've worn my rig in front of the mirror countless times and still I feel like its going to show or its visible enough for people to make it. Maybe that is just my inexperience. I also liken it to how after getting a new car one often looks for or just seems to notice other drivers with the same make/ model car all of the sudden.
Most people go through life half blind. Most people I encounter cannot tell you a description of a person that walked by them 5 seconds ago. Very few people actually pay attention to anything around them. I would not worry at all about your CCW, sounds like you are more concerned than anybody else. That is not a bad thing BTW!

Exactly this. Myself included. I am only looking around for what I need, and any imminent threats. Otherwise it's out of my mind in a matter of seconds.
I look all the time. I tend bar for a living, and it amazes me how many guys have no problem carrying a pistol and then getting trashed at the bar. That includes regular Joe's, off duty cops and thugs. It is usually pretty easy to see if someone is carrying. Just watch for odd bulges, bulges where there usually aren't any, and an unconscious touch to the pistol is. I can usually tell pretty quickly if someone is carrying.
For what it is worth, if I can tell you are carrying while I am tending bar, you are politely requested to take your pistol out to your car, and service is refused until you do. Strangely, only cops have an issue with that. More strangely, the only shooting incidents I have had while working were done by 2 very drunk off duty NYC cops. Hence the rule for everyone.

I look around a bit to see if people are carrying, but given that only about 3% of us are, I really don't expect to see very many. I think in the last couple of years I have only seen 2 or 3 people total that I knew were carrying because they were printing.
But mostly, I feel sorry for those women who make spandex look good on them as they often have little or no available places to hide their CCW well. Sometimes I stare at them a bit as they pass by, trying to come up with an idea of how they might carry, but it is usually hopeless, so I just keep looking in wonderment and admiration, and keep silent...

I spotted a guy today, printing badly. He kept bending over at a candy display at a cafe. Then he twisted a bit, his shirt rode up some, and I spotted cuffs.

I gander when I feel. But I'm the kind of guy that cares less when and if I "print".. Basically it's like rattlesnake rattling..stay the fuck back fool..and I yearn for the liberal fool to come screaming, so I can have an argument with someone that doesn't know my rights (cause here on this forum we all agree lol) and how we're protecting those lib fools too when we carry..

I can never tell. I can look at where I know my gun is in the bathroom mirror and I can't tell. My wife does not even know until she puts her arm around me, looks at me and says seriously. I say what I told you all the time I meant all the time. Now she's happy I have it and glad I'm protecting her. She actually says she feels safer with me. My 9 year old told her the other day he'd rather go some where with me than her because I carry a gun. He also asked me at Tify Farm while we were walking in hey dad do you have your gun with you. Thankfully no one was around. He got a stern talking to about that.
