When helps in place, it’s more stable to allow penetration. If it was loose, the play may actually hinder penetration.

I'm not saying it won't penetrate just the way some of these videos are filmed at showing what calibre won't or will do just aren't doing it any justice of course shoot a piece of glass penetration shoot a cinder block penetration but shoot something that's actually represents real life objects.

Shooting into a car is highly dependent upon the angle the bullet is coming at. I’ve seen lots of cars shot up, especially windshields and back windows where the glass broke, but the bullets actually skipped upwards, regardless of caliber.

Weird that you thought a 380 couldn't get through a car windshield. The speed is there. It's all about the angle the glass is hit. So as Goya alluded to the glass being attached to the car would make a difference. Standing at a 90 degree angle like that, just about any caliber will make it through. Again it's all about the angle. A 50 BMG can even deflect off a car windshield at just the right (wrong?) angle.

ETA: The only sure fire way to get through the windshield at any angle and kill your opponent dead is with the 45 (hollowpoint).

Didn’t know it was enough to go through glass and or a door since it failed the frying pan test that is relatively thin.
