I'm not sure I would vote for him, tired of the families of politicians in this country and the attempt to reannoint royalty! Fuck that shit! As Cuomo demonstrates, and a few others, just because one family member made it, doesn't mean any other should... Now politics is becoming a playground for the Rich & Famous who have nothing else to do but massage their ego and help us poor people out by saving us from our own demise! Gimme a break

I'm also sick and tired of the political dynasties. The problem is the alternative the establishment puts forth. If there is no viable candidate for NY governor other than Trump, Jr, here's the key, THAT DOESN'T SPLIT OUR VOTE, then we're once again getting four years of monkeyface or his equivalent. Which is worse, a known avid 2A supporter, albeit the beginning of another silver spoon family dynasty, or monkeyface/Eric Schneiderman?

Unfortunately our options are limited as to who we can legitimately get into Albany. Can Astorino win next time? Possibly. However, if we split the vote between Rob and Trump, Jr I believe the answer becomes blatantly obvious.

Here's an idea.
Let's get as many "like minded individuals" as we can to switch party affiliation to Dem. If we're going to fight an uphill battle, why not start fighting it sooner - at the primaries. Vote for the goofiest primary challengers that decide to go up against people like Cuomo - people who have absolutely NO chance in the general election.

I don't kill what I don't eat. (hunting or fishing) I'd vote for him only because he opposes what the furher represents. I don't understand rich people and trophy hunts...but that's another subject.

DT Jr has better politics than his Dad and is a bonafide 2A gun guy... so yeah. But I doubt he has a chance unless Cuomo falls and is prosecuted, gutting the Democrat machine. He might win a teeter tottering congressional seat in a purple district. But he'd do even better if he moved to a red state.

Face it, Americans like dynasties like the Kennedys, etc. Back when Trump looked like he would lose my theory was that he was running to groom his kids to be on the national stage, either Ivanka or Jr could be viable politicians.

The last estimates I saw were that 4.5 million people owned firearms in New York State. With New York's population at just shy of 20 million, I suspect that 20% gun ownership is a little high. So let's go with a spitball number of 3 million gun owners in New York.

There was a grand total of 3.9 million votes case in the last gubernatorial election. 2 million for Cuomo, 1.5 million for Astorino, and a couple-hundred thousand for other candidates.

Do you think that New York gun owners could come up with an extra 500k votes if we tried?

Screw the petty bullshit between SCOPE, NYSRPA, and the various other competing organizations; It's clear that they aren't doing anything for us today. Who cares about competing lawsuits that never go anywhere. New York gun owners alone have the potential to be the single largest voting bloc in the state if we just made the effort.

I could take a dump in the middle of 5th Avenue in NYC, name it, and put a (D) after it's name. It would STILL be a good candidate for most NYC voters. That doesn't mean it's a viable politician.

No more dynasties, I would not vote for Junior. What we need is a real movement to vote Il Duce out of office. Get a candidate that is not part of a family dynasty or one being created. I don't trust Senior one bit, I foresaw who he truly was. Now his kid is thinking of running for Governor, how about run for Executive or the State Legislature first. That way we all see who he truly is and how he votes.
