Rape is arguably the highest crime in all the land and the consequences should equal or surpass.
It was his choice to change his chamber into his crypt.
Not condoning violence, and I wouldn’t want to be in the Sheriffs shoes.
Penalties for this will be severe- his life will never be his again- but if he didn’t act,

Until I know more I can’t jump to conclusions and speculate. Maybe the judge deserved it, maybe not. Whatever occurred that resulted in what happened is pertinent for me to decide how I feel about this.

Come on. In what part of this country does ANYONE get a pass to be judge (no pun), jury, and executioner? They give him a pass and it's open season.
Jury nullification does work with some. We shall see. There was a guy in Texas that beat his daughters rapist to death, grand jury came back with no indictment...

Hypothetically speaking? I belive I would attempt to imobilze the joints with deliberately aimed fire. Once having successfully immobilized the subject I would then straddle the subjects chest, pinning them down as I used a knife to remove the face off the skull while the subject remained conscious. This is all assuming I didn't have the time or opportunity for something more..............elaborate. Something involving a sturdy table in a remote basement somewhere, with sturdy restraints and a selection of tools.
Perhaps I'd test some things out that I have long wondered, like what would happen if you took a blow torch to someone's eye socket? Would that be immediately fatal? Or would the subject survive that? I'd have a lot of experiments I'd like to conduct.

I'm not disagreeing with what he did, just saying that I don't think he'll just walk away for his actions.
If his daughter really was getting raped maybe he'll get a suspended sentence or 20 years of probation or something.

Probably not, even if he is acquitted or no-billed on the murder charge, since it was a judge in a court house there's likely to be a following federal charge.
The way many NY courts seem to act, they will likely try to quash any mention of the abuse of the daughter in his trial and seek to frame him as an unhinged whacko (ie: just another NY gun owner according to heil hokul der eyebrows fuhrer).
