They embody the paradoxical nature of human existence, encapsulating both the joys and sorrows that accompany life's journey. Like jesters, life itself is a grand performance, filled with laughter and tears, moments of levity and profound introspection.
They can be completely chaotic characters with destructive tendencies or have a mean streak that comes out. They can also struggle with physical and emotional intimacy because they can use their humor as a way to deflect from that depth.
The jester delivers bad news jokingly and good news in a perverse, ironically harsh manner.
Anyone needing a kick-in-the-ass reason/reminder to vote this November should skim pages 20 - 40 of this thread, especially if you weren't part of the conversation. Read more if you prefer. It's a WTF in real time. Thanks @Dr. Evil for reviving it.
And yeah, I know at least some of you, even in this forum, are those that like to bitch but don't even do the bare minimum. Why? because even amongst a group I mostly agree with you're all still just people. The same kind of cross section that makes up any group and every group will have some. At least earn the right to bitch by voting.
How much you think your vote does/doesn't count in your state is not an excuse not to vote. If you want to be a hero then go find a cat stuck up a tree or a burning building.
Your vote may not count in the way you want it to, but it can count in the way it needs to. The minority voices wining in our country are doing so because they make the effort. We need to get louder.
All evil needs to prevail is for good people to do nothing.
