Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer Grants Legal Protection for Voter Fraud

On Friday Gretchen Whitmer issued a veto against Senate Bill 977 and House Bill 5881 which would make it a felony for any voter to knowingly commit various forms of voter fraud. By striking down the legislation, the Democrat Governor grants safe passage for those who willingly commit voter fraud with full knowledge. The text of the law requires knowledge of the criminal act which should satisfy the democratic party’s desire to protect those who accidentally vote more than once.
Mail in voting has been a fiery debate in the state of Michigan. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson sent out multiple rounds of absentee ballot applications. Immediately reports came flooding in regarding risk of fraud as ballot applications came to prior residents, non-citizens, and even deceased voters who were still on the voting rolls. The Secretary of State has also warned that she will not be submitting election results for as long as two weeks after election day.

The Trump campaign announced Wednesday that it has filed for a recount in two Wisconsin counties, Milwaukee and Dane. The campaign said it paid a three million dollar filing fee for the recount in the two counties, which the state has acknowledged receiving. A statewide recount would cost about $7.9 million. The deadline for filing is 5 p.m. Wednesday
Biden’s statewide lead over President Trump in Wisconsin is currently about 20,00 votes.

Trump’s re-election campaign will file a petition today for a recount in two Wisconsin counties – Milwaukee and Dane – citing illegally altered absentee ballots, illegally issued absentee ballots, and illegal advice given by government officials allowing Wisconsin’s Voter ID laws to be circumvented. These two counties were selected because they are the locations of the worst irregularities. Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. transferred $3 million to Wisconsin to cover the estimated cost of the recounts.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission directed Wisconsin municipal clerks to illegally alter incomplete absentee ballots contrary to Wisconsin law. Clerks were instructed that they could rely on their own “personal knowledge,” or unspecified “lists or databases at his or her disposal” to add in missing information on returned absentee ballots. Under Wisconsin law, incomplete absentee ballots may not be counted.
