a question for ya... just how do you go about adding a new pistol to your permit if they know you're not in compliance ??
That and 18636 people are walking around with permits that are no good and therefor walking around with pistols they shouldnt have.
Something is really wrong here. I think the SAFE act is bullshit just like everyone else here does but the thing with a pistol permit is they have your address and they already have the information on your pistols.
If things are going the way we all think they will this year and fuckhead FUAC gets off his ass and says go after these people it isnt like they have to look very hard to find them.
This will blow up and won't be in the favor of the police or the pistol permit holder.

The big difference is that they have no way of knowing if you bought one compared to a pistol where they do.

Right but there are records. There are none with rifles other than police illegally looking at FFL'S books. But their books don't reflect if you sold it or three or away.

How is Kearns getting this compliance rate? It by no means jibes with the state police compliance rate. I feel Kearns is using overall number of permit holder by who recertified. Not everyone issued a pp needed to.

They are going to have to be content to do it one person at a time. which pretty much does nothing for his purposes of making NY safe and communist.

they can revoke anything they want, if the guns are no longer in New Yorkistan, and they are in a location were they are legal, *they* can't do shit about it.

You are correct. Once out of state, they can't touch them. They'll just make sure your license is revoked. You can even put them in a storage locker in PA and tell them where they are and they can't do anything about it.

A decent chunk I'd imagine. Anybody that used to have a pistol and sold it doesn't care about their permit anyways, and they won't have to do anything, they just lose their permit and ability to buy, own and carry a pistol in NYS. I really doubt they've thoroughly checked all permit holders and most importantly all the details that really matter as stated.

And, as a next step, they will find a way to make permit revocations the equivalent of a felony, which would remove your Right to have them, thus they will be illegal for you to possess anywhere.
I wouldn't put it past them. Making Law-abiding citizens into criminals is the only way they have of controlling them.
Ironically, it is also the best way to lose control of them.
I thought that was in the SA, lose your permit, lose your long guns as well.
