ESEE Knives

I got gifted a nice ESEE Izula fixed blade... it's a very nice, light knife.

I like that it comes with a belt clip style molly clip. You can clip it on to a belt or if you are wearing athletic shorts it clips on to the waistband very well too. It holds the knife very securely.

Nice gift. I have 2 myself. It's very light to carry. sometimes I forget I have it on me.
They sell grip panels for it if you want it to fill your hand a little better. Or you can wrap the grip with a paracord to cushion the grip.

After EDCing it for the past few days, I love it. Can't tell it's even there.

I also like the fact that the knife is held VERY securely in the sheath and it requires a method to unholster it.

The one I was gifted is in Dark Earth finish and it suites me very well. Or shall I say: Someone knows my tastes extremely well.

It requires a nice, firm pull to get it to unholster. It doesn't just slide out like most other holsters/knives.

I like it because I can carry it while jogging or doing rough activities without fear of it coming out or stabbing me.

I have an Izula II with standard Esee scales. Up grading sheath to this Kydex Sheath - ESEE Izula / Izula II for carry on an upcoming trip through anti 2A states.

Do you find the stock sheath uncomfortable to travel with?

I never really liked the stock belt attachment, thought it made sheath feel bulky.

The Armetus also has a thumb ramp to help remove knife from sheath. Found pulling knife from sheath was difficult and always used a thumb push to remove. Past couple of years I have carried as neck knife in stock sheath.

I am wanting to EDC an Izula in an IWB sheath. However unplanned expenses keep popping up to delay my purchase. My truck GPS shitting the bed being the most recent fly in the ointment.

I have a few ESEEs and was gifted the Izula by a friend while on a camping trip this past September. I don't have many safe queens, so I sent right to testing it out. I did some things many knife owners would scathe me for, but it's a "survival" knife, so I wanted to see if it would survive some rough tasks. While not my first choice as an EDC fixed blade, it certainly hits well above it size.
