The biggest problem I see in holding those responsible accountable is that this is a complex issue that takes more than a 15 second soundbite to understand. I have a feeling this mess is going over a lot of people's heads.

Even CNN had to address this what they called "bad optics". People really don't care about Trump/Russia diplomacy and many welcome it. On the other hand it was the FBI who attacked our democracy and tried to sway the elections. Special council needs to be appointed to investigate FBI's role in 2016 elections.

These idiots thought that trump was such a danger to the country they believed overturning the results of the election and tearing up the constitution were entirely justifiable. I suspect the people involved believe they are "patriots" in some manner. Contemptible. Trump has his faults but he is neither the second coming of hitler nor a delusional whack job looking to start WW3. In fact, in terms of actual accomplishments his first year was pretty good.
