Denver Police investigating accidental shooting from gun of an off-duty FBI agent
Video obtained by Denver ABC affiliate KMGH shows the agent attempted a back handspring, while surrounded by dozens of onlookers rooting him on, when the gun fell out of his back waistband. He quickly picked the gun up and tucked it back into his waistband, but the gun went off when he retrieved it.

America's finest in action folks . The gun goes off and It looks like there is little concern if he hit someone .

No, the gun didn't "go off" because it fell out of the holster and onto the ground.
It went off because the agent wasn't careful and fumble fingered it when he picked it up.
I wonder what kind of holster it was?
The kydex holster I have for my PPQ has no retention device other than a tensioning screw but it holds onto the gun during all manner of running, jumping, and flopping.

Every SA we are friends with are expected to always carry an approved firearm on or off duty and are expected to stay sober off duty and no drinks within 4 hours of duty or on call watch. Same expectations for DEA friends and Federal Marshal relatives.

The article stated an agent is not supposed to drink while carrying a primary or backup weapon.

This is all very easy to remedy - I just don't do backflips when I am carrying back there, duh.
