Possibly but personally I wouldn't want to be shot by any calibreCould be a game changer for the .380 market. Most folks I know would want a smaller CCW but don't want to go below a 9mm because of stopping power/penetration. This may cause some to make the switch.
Alabama Holster front pocket kydex holster for my Glock 43 fits my Glock 42 quite well, too.It pains me to admit it publicly but I know .380 is a very poor self defense round, and yet I CCW a .380 often (Glock 42).
I will definitely check out the new ammo, I am currently using Hornady Critical Defense.
Most days I carry a Kel Tec P3AT because I can be more discrete more easily. I prefer less than ideal over unarmed. It pains me to admit it publicly but I know .380 is a very poor self defense round, and yet I CCW a .380 often (Glock 42).

If this turns out to be decent stuff this might finally push me over the finish line to picking up a P238 of my own.

Alright Zimmerman. dont go shooting your eye out. Most days I carry a Kel Tec P3AT because I can be more discrete more easily. I prefer less than ideal over unarmed.
He had the bigger, manlier PF9.Alright Zimmerman. dont go shooting your eye out.
I thought the dimensions on the Glock 43 were strikingly similar to the G42. I have the G43 and can conceal it well. Don't have the G42 so I can't compare.
BTW...I see nothing wrong with using the G42 or the .380. Better to have something than nothing and just because you have a 9mm doesn't mean all will be good if the proverbial crap hits the fan.
Glock size comparison:Glock 42 is a small bit slimmer which makes a difference when you pocket carry.
There are even smaller options for CCW in 380 but I prefer to stick with Glock as that’s more-or-less all I shoot in any caliber. It means I don’t need to ever think about the handgrip I use, the manual of arms, jam clearance, field strip, etc.
Looks good.. wife carries a Sig P238, and we also have a Shield EZ .380, and actually I have a second P238 on the way, to go in my carry rotation.. Unlike some, I see no issue carrying a reliable, accurate, .380 for SD.. We have some Hornady CD, some Hornady Ameican Gunner hollow points, and something called Underwood Supreme Defender, that I know nothing about, for SD in our .380's.
This looks like a good SD round.. Gotta see who has it for sale..bob
agreed.. I used FMJ in my carry guns, and some guys with permits that had carried since the 60's-70's talked me out of it, saying they had too much penetration, and might go through whatever I was shooting at and into something [or someone] that I was not aiming for.. I figure they knew more than I did, and went with SD hollow point stuff, except in my .32acp, and 22lr mouse guns that I carry at times, because in those small calibers, penetration is all you have..95 gr FMJ has had no trouble reaching human organs since it’s inception. The extra tissue destroyed from a bullet thats .621 in diameter compared to .355 in diameter isn’t going to make you deader.

So you feel FMJ is ok in carry guns chambered in calibers say from 9mm on up?... bob
