I hate this. This is a testing ground. If they can get this passed then all gas will be gone because this is the appliance most people care about and are particular about it’s fuel source.

The government seems to like giving out free money for the most ridicolous things so does this gas stove ban include a bill to give every American household money to upgrade thier electrical circuit so an electric stove can be used? Especially in older houses.

I've had an electric stove for over 35 years and prefer a gas stove. As there is no gas line near the kitchen, I just live with it. At the least ,if power goes out, a person can still cook and get some heat if they ventilate properly.
I think gas stoves are better too. They're easier to regulate heat while you're cooking. Plus when you shut off a burner it doesn't stay hot for 30 minutes. We lose power at least a few times a year and we just use a lighter to light the burner.

I love my gas stove. If it comes to it I’ll buy a spare and store it in my garage.
If they ban gas, I am going back to wood.
That's what I'm thinking. Problem is that if they actually manage to ban them the prices will skyrocket if you even find one.

They will ban them for some time in the future and you’ll have time to buy one. They are so stupid because there isn’t even enough electricians or copper to do this shit.
I’m thinking I should buy some spare rolls of copper wire when the economy crashes later this year to have some on hand. When all this all electric bullshit takes hold copper prices will be skyrocketing.
