FFLs shutdown in New York

The closure of seven wholesalers last year hurt a lot of FFLs. Places like Jerry's and Greene's were my old go-to options for ordering stuff.
I currently rely on
Zanders, Chattanooa, Grice, MGE, and nominally Orion, but Orions sales rep situation is so up in the air I'm not sure whats going on there.
Interstate got bought out last year and I set up a new account, but upon trying to order I found that not being a blue label Glock dealer really limits what I can get there. Shooting Sports is supposed to be shuttered, but their site is still active and shows inventory. Most of whats showing is at prices I wouldn't pay for anything but the hardest to get ammo for customers who are willing to pay their asking price. I also have a dealers account at Graf and Sons, but once again that's primarily for some hard-to-get stuff I can't find anywhere else. Years ago I had an account with Sports South, but that's another place where I was deemed to not be a "real" FFL and my account was cancelled. Other than that, I very occasionally order from Ron Shirks, but their lack of a web presence hurts ease of ordering; no net 30 account, having to use a credit card with the associated extra percentage points in costs that get passed along to the end buyer, means I rarely use them.....

In the end, after a long battle, would the Governors be forced to concede? Sure.
Up to that point, good luck for the brick and mortar stores in localities who will fight their being open tooth and nail.
Look at how many places want to disregard Heller and MacDonald, and those are SCOTUS rulings with more teeth to them than an administrative declaration.
Maybe I am too pessimistic...

I am glad I prepare ahead of time precisely for scenarios like this since the last thing I want right now is to be
in a small shop or FFL sharing germs with who knows. I bet a lot of FFLs will choose to remain closed.
But perhaps there is a way to have orders via phone and just pick them up outside or have clients
by appointment to only have one customer in the shop at the time and w/o touching anything.

Are there no lawyers smart enough to pull together a lawsuit against Cuomo specifically, and the state for dereliction of duty? Deliberate misdirection of public services? Suppression of constitutional rights? He may think he is the dictator of NYS, but actually he is not. I'll bet that if there were some lawyers that advanced a solid case, they could find some financial backing.

Exactly. You can totally do all kinds of business and minimize the risk. Keep distance. Sterilize things. It's simple.
My landscape company got shut down. We work in people's back yards with minimal contact normally. With our work there's almost no risk yet the economic damage is being imposed. It could be reduced to practically 0% risk if we have one guy per site. But, instead we all have to go full retard... fuck it, I'll keep the couch toasty and burn through Evan Williams.

So it's weird...they said landscaping in terms of grounds maintenance is OK. But non essential construction like hardscape is NOT allowed. It's absurd...we could go to a clients house and rake leaves or mow a lawn, but we could not build a brick walkway or retaining wall in that same yard.
The past week has been a shitshow in terms of figuring out what we can do...and relaying that to our crews and clients.
