Because he is trying to make it into a Sig X-Carry. You know slide cuts, optic cut, front serrations..
Uhg, here we go with Sig, only the difference will be I'm using a good optic not that trash Romeo one

Just poking fun, look forward to your build. I want to send my slide in too on my 320Uhg, here we go with Sig, only the difference will be I'm using a good optic not that trash Romeo one

So FFL said (and i completely understand) they wont ship it for me but will receive it, so now just got to save up a few extra bucks (im honestly in no hurry for this build, carrying a G17 right now) to ship it off to glock since it seems like the overnight or next day shipping from either FedEx or UPS is going to be damn near $100 as well

Should not cost that much, I'll ask a few guys how they did it. If thats the case you can get a new complete frame and keep the old one for a few bucks more. Might be able to sell the old one too. $240 to your ffl https://www.gunbroker.com/item/748279922
Knowing how stupid county clerks can be, what did they ask for as to proof the old one was destroyed and replaced with this new one?
I guess "Roland" also believes the uboat plays a big part in the whole thing as well (extra weight up front keeps gun flat)
The original impetus behind the comp was to keep debris off his light.
I was going to do a G19 build next but I think I've been swayed to a G32 build. And to be 100% honest I still really wish I had a G32 to do this with.
I have no idea why but I really feel a G32 Roland (or fauxland) special would be tits

Or you could change your 9mm to. 357 Sig.
I pretty much have done that with my G22. I will be buying the .357 sig barrel when money comes available. I really want to modify my G43 for a optic and a personalization. If I do go and do this I wont have a carry gun when it's out for work. This is where I think I want to do a compact gun build. Still haven't bought the stock gun so there's still time to change my mind.So here is my take it or leave it advice lol, (what I'm wishing I did, but know why I didnt), get a 23 (gross .40sw) and now you have a frame for 9mm .40 and .357sig with just swapping slides.
Granted I keep trying find if you can do a 9mm swap on a .357sig (which if that's possible then yea snag the 32 and then can do a 9mm slide later) if that all makes sense
I would like to see some more reviews of this one. Sucks it would have to be welded.

I like that design, perfect work around to our crummy laws. Are they able to be ordered yet or are they still in the preorder phase?
It's pretty sad how we have to fight tooth and nail for a simple add-on. Like Will has stated has questionable benefits(I'm like Edward and think there is something to it).
