First Shotgun

Treated myself to an early Black Friday gift ..... my first shotgun.
It is nothing fancy, just a basic Mossberg 500.

Dick's has the Mossy 500 field/deer (2 barrels) with a free 18" barrel for $349

That's a perfect first shotgun! The barrel assortment let's you do a lot of things with it, the mossy 500 is a tough and reliable arm and it's pretty cheap to boot!

Mossberg is a very respectable gun. I still have a 20ga model 385k (xmas present from my mom), purchased in Sears in 1973!

Congrats on the three barrel setup.
I tried to get the Mossberg Maverick 88 from Dick's in October but was NICS delayed for two weeks. Got the shotgun from a mom-pop FFL
Also, let me warn you about the shotgun kick. It may take time to get used to it.
