You have to force yourself for the first couple weeks and then your natural energy will increase. The first 2 weeks are the hardest, as you need to make it a part of your daily routine too.I wish I had the energy to get it done.
Edited. Oops. You're correct. I should know better than to doubt a tractor.Don't take supplements. I eliminate the middle man and eat the things that provide those supplements, in the case of DHEA, I would eat some yams and a soy product.

If you really want help start a thread and we can help. Dr.evil is very informed on this. Its been a way of life for me, and i minored in fitness and nutrition so i have a good grasp too.i cannot gain muscle mass no matter what i do. very discouraging.
Exercising and fitness has always been a way of life for me. And I have been a weightlifter for more than 25 years.
The only time I ever have not been exercising was when I was recovering from an injury, periodically. Although admittedly, the past few years have been very difficult to stay consistent due to work and family.
I have made it a priority to be diligent with exercising so I've been running and doing some light weights to get back into it for the past couple months. Since we do not have a Fitness Forum here yet I'm putting it in this section because I think it's an important part of being prepared. After all, if I had to walk home 50 miles from the city in a shtf scenario I better be reasonably fit. And if I need to physically fight for my life I also need to be healthy and strong.
Now, for the past couple weeks I've been working the night shift and sometimes the day shift so I am completely off and right now I've got to killer headache, but I'm due for my workout. Today is one of those days where I'd rather just plop on the couch but I'm going to get busy now push through it.
I'm currently running every other day. I do 6 laps around my tiny neighborhood which comes to 2 miles. It's mostly all an uphill grade with a very short downhill. Right now i race against the clock to constantly try to improve my time. Once I Plateau on that I will increase my distance.Forget about weight lifting, you have done enough!
its time for Cardio, how far can you run or hike with a load?
