You can't really judge people by one aspect of their lives, is what this simply validates for me.
Personally, I won't hate on what someone does in their spare time so long as it doesn't hurt a child or animal. Consenting adults can do whatever they want -- it just might not be for me.
As long as people do their job, let them have their private lives. They're still good people, and from your description hard workers.

The club Q shooter was somehow free to go on a shooting spree despite being arrested just one year ago for kidnapping and menacing. Anderson Lee Aldrich should have never been free, he should have been in a mental hospital a year ago. Fixing the mental health crisis is pivotal.

Colorado Springs Police deputy chief Adrian Vasquez said, "The suspect entered Club Q and immediately began shooting people inside."
He noted, "At least two heroic people inside the club confronted and fought with the suspect and were able to stop the suspect from continuing to kill and harm others."
The shooter was reportedly armed with two guns, including a long rifle.
The suspect was taken into custody at 12:02 a.m., according to Lt. Pamela Castro of the Colorado Springs Police Department. The shooter was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

It is sad when innocent people are harmed. People are shot and killed each and every day in the United States. Especially in the inner cities, the black on black murder rates are through the roof. Innocent people killed on a daily basis. But it takes a bunch of deviance and freaks to get killed for this administration to put forth a weapons ban. Not that I agree to any ban on any weapon, it just goes to show that this administration only cares when it looks good for them.
