So this Saturday the family and I are taking a little trip to the Dominican Republic, to meet my parents side of the family that still live there. Being an American I cannot transport my firearms over.
Now for the goods of what I am bringing. Knives and rope, lots of rope, a first aid pouch, bear spray, life straws, and a universal IWB holster. I know -- I know, I said I cannot bring firearms so why am I bringing a holster? Just in case I come across a firearm that fits in there while scavenging.
What else should I be bringing?
Little Fun Gun Facts about my trip:
My Grandmother passed away earlier this year and left a .38 special with no legal owner.
Grandma was also a part of the civil war and rumored to have buried several military weapons on some of her ranches, only 2 have been found.
My cousin's husband is in construction and has a registered Glock 18 (full auto) which he's used a few times in self defense.
Anything bigger than a .45 caliber is banned as well as rifles.
