Agree. Don't know what else he is charged with, but on what you posted I would say not guilty. No assault weapons there from what I could tell.

The date on the criminal compaint is June 2016. The complaint was amended late November to include additional charges.

When that one gets officially released, a more complete picture will develop.

Can I get a cliff notes here? Are people actually ok with charging someone for something that's legal in the vast majority of states? I don't care about other charges. Those laws are not protected under the bill of rights. If he was in PA would he still be charged the same?

Will, I gotta ask, if a gang banger were to get arrested for a slue of crimes, would you support him? How about if ONE of those crimes charged was in violation of the SAFE Act? Would you go to rally's and donate monies to his defense?

It seems like you know nothing about this guy except he was charged under an Act that we do not agree with and find to be un-Constitutional. The other first hand accounts of what he did, doesn't it bother you? Does it not bother you that he probably committed fraud as well as other violations?

An illegal law is illegal no matter whom applied to. Even the worst monster deserves the same rights and protections as Mother Theresa.

The worst thing society can do is look the other way when an undesireable is charged with an unpopular law. Screw 'em, right? No. Mission creep will inevitably bring it to your back yard.

In a previous post, I said that I would even support Hillary for an Unsafe Act Violation. I would do this not for her to get off and not go to jail, but rather for the law to disappear.

As far as donating goes, it depends on the situation. Since the NRA has no interest in fighting this particular case or any for that matter, I more than likely will not. If they did however, I might a little.
