I apparently did not read all of the plaintiff identification statements.
It appears that Mr. and Mrs. Frey, Mr. Sappe, and Mr. Cheng are putting it all on the line.
They are ALL stating their intent to violate the unconstitutional statute.
They are ALL placing themselves at risk of arrest.
When they have a legal defense fund established, we will all need to support them all.

Mr. Cheng intends to continue carrying his handgun in New York City under his NYC concealed carry license while traveling within the Times Square area, to restaurants (that also happen to be licensed by the alcohol and beverage authority), on private and commercial property, in stores and shops, and on sidewalks near and next to areas that are now deemed “sensitive” and/or “restricted".

I just read through the whole thing. Wow, they are definitely swinging for the fences with this filing. And, as a lifelong practitioner of the English language, to my reading they are factually correct in every assertion made.
Of course, as NYS and the larger judicial system are impossibly corrupt, the plaintiffs will be arrested, the judge will declare “No standing” and Hochul et al will trumpet that another dangerous challenge to their little fiefdom has been squashed and the serfs have been reminded of their place in society, namely on the bottom of their supposed master’s shoe.

Its really sad how far our country has fallen. But to the leftist "progressives" society is "evolving" and changing for the better. There was an old movie called "Gattica" where every person had to be an engineered birth, no more natural births allowed. i feel like they are calling NYS’s bluff out. By that I mean it seems with most violations of things like the SafeAct and other gun control laws it seems that it always done as an add on charge and almost never as a stand alone charge. If it is a stand alone charge often it seems NYS aims to plea bargain down so the case never sees the light of day. It almost seems like previously NYS has puffed out its chest and bluffed in regards to gun control. Now with this the plaintiffs are calling out NYS and saying they specifically intend to break the unjust laws, like they are poking nys in the eye and saying “come and get us”. If nys goes after them then nys risks that these laws are thrown out in court or nullified by a jury. If nys does not go after them then it shows the world that nys is a paper tiger in regards to enforcement and only emboldens the rest of the law abiding population to do as they have done. What an interesting strategy.
NYS is not going to want to open this can of worms ( Open Carry ) they can not win!
