It seems I pretty much have enough interest to split these all up.

I would do $525/each SHIPPED or $1000 shipped for two of them.

Pickup is also fine same prices.

I will make the crate of 1120 rounds $300 (its 360+shipping cheapest I can find online) available to someone who picks up a rifle.

I will sell these to a forum member if they PICK UP Only (Andes 13731) with the 1120 round sealed yugo crate for $5200 CASH.
This is nothing like the crates you can buy online for $4000+ shipping from classic etc.
They are consecutive numbered. They are unissued. They are a rare year. They have all accessories + log books.

I doubt you will ever find a crate of Yugos this nice. I have gone through tons of them and put this one to the side. Take a look at the gunbroker listing for more details.

we were speculating that 10 people could go in on this together and buy the crate. each person gets a rifle. for the people who would want the crate itself, we would bid for it, and the extra amount paid to assure the crate for the individual will go to lower the cost for each other individual. this way you yourself can determine how much that crate is worth to you, and it helps everyone else save a bit of money. obviously this is purely speculation.

To an SKS novice, is this something I should not pass up? I have been interested in getting something in 7.62 and a rifle I share with my son when the time arises. I know little about them but am very intrigued.

SKS's are awesome rifles and built like tanks. You can get them for around 400-450 online + shipping.They used to be a lot cheaper. You are paying a little bit of a premium on one of these but they are practically brand new with all accessories.

Yugos are also the most accurate but not as desirable as a Russian. Their are also chinese ones that you can get for around $300 but they are rough and look like they sat under water for a few decades.

Also be careful buying some of the older issued ones. A lot of them have rough bores from using corrosive ammo.
