So, anyone have any non-blade gear and/or accessories that they really like and would like to post about?

I used to have a Leatherman Squirt PS4 on my keys, and I loved that thing. So handy. Sent it back for the lifetime warranty once because of an issue with the scissors, got sent a brand new one for free. But I lost it a few years ago. Now I have a SAK classic Alox on my keys. Very pretty, but damn do I miss that Leatherman.

I keep flashlights everywhere. Some are normal AA/AAA battery-operated, I have an old Surefire that runs on CR123, and a few newer high-lumen (cheapo) models that have built-in rechargeable batteries. One of these days I'll get a quality high-lumen light for my home defense gun. Right now I just have a separate flashlight.

Best AA I have found is the Terralux 220, usually in the 25-30$ range.

That being said I have moved on to the crees with the 18650 lithiums

It runs on only one AA battery. It's light and tiny and also has a pushbutton. In my pocket, I don't even know it's there.

Bright idea jacking the blades thread to make it into a flashlight thread. I can see everyone really, really likes flashlights. Allow me to illuminate the conversation a little with this baby.

Ozark flashlight bat. I saw it and really had to stop myself from buying it at the time. From what I read on the packaging, heavy duty aluminum, 300 lumens, 4 AA, 180m light distance, high, low and flash modes. Beveled end for poking zombie skulls. It's something I really want to add to my BOB and maybe for the car.

Big fan of Surefire lights here. I carry the EB1 (single CR123) most of the time.

18650 is my go to.

surefire 6px with the body bored out to .750" i can use a single 18650 or 2 cr123 batteries. i keep 2 18650's with me at all times, one in the light and a fully charged spare in my edc pack i addition to a brand new 2 pack of surefire cr123's as another backup. the charger i have can be used in the car as well.

my go to edc light is my surefire sidekick. lots of light in a relatively small package and it is always on my keys.

18650s are the 'new hotness', but can be expensive if you get the reliable ones. However when we're spending several hundred dollars on a handgun, holster, belt... an extra $50-100 on a flashlight and batteries is hard to complain about. Just make sure you get the quality batteries.

yea i have the nitecore ones, (the important thing is that they use the panasonic ncr18650b cell and have the protection circuit added). picked up the charger and 2 batteries from nitecore for $50. they last way longer on a single charge than the surefire batteries ever did, (i would get 2-3 hours out of the sf cr123 batteries and with about 1/2 hour of use per day i can run the light on one 18650 for about a month before it cuts off) so the price is very quickly offset by the savings.

I thought the same thing until I started carrying a nice pen (that I made). Haven't lost it yet. I'm more worried about someone swiping it off my work desk when I get up to go pee or something.

You should find a way to turn those blanks into tactical stabby pens. I'd buy another from you if you could figure that out.

For edc lights, 18650 is too big for me. I like my AA/14500 light. I have a Cree/Amazon special and a Coast HP1. Love them both. With a 14500 battery, bright as hell (for the size). I have an 18650 light, it is very bright and I love it. More for messing around though, or if weight is of no concern. I also have Streamlight and Inova lights, definitely love those.

I love my Gerber multi-tools, but I can never seem to find a use for them, but I always have them just in case.

Get a pee bag for your leg. Problem solved.

I can barely keep up with gun stuff, so not sure myself. It seems most of the 18650 battery users are vapers. I'm dead tired right now but flashlight • /r/flashlight has some good info.

I have the Fenix LD12 (125 lumen max output, tailcap switch, pocket clip, single AA). Picked it up for about $30.00 a couple years ago. It's in the rotation with a Surefire EB1. Thus far, I am impressed.

I've had this Kershaw Blur for a long time. So much that the rubber grips fell off years ago and it has been sharpened countless times. I think I'm due for a new folder/edc. Also pictured is said Coast light, love it.

Eh, neither bother me. This drop point has served me well, I guess it depends on the knife and how you're gonna use it. I guess drop point makes a better edc, but some look better as clip vs drop. I wouldn't argue with either.
