Gear for a firearms class?

What does everyone take to a firearms class? I have taken several pistol classes and I will branch out into medical classes this year with carbine classes to follow. Im looking for information from the experienced, what do you take to a class to make sure you are covered?

I have a 2 day pistol class next weekend and my list of things to take is longggggg.

- Med kit(including any meds one might need), Trauma kit
- PPE
- Gun (backup gun(s)) and/or parts, batteries
- Ammo
- Cleaning kit
- Belts/holsters
- Water/food
- Sun block

Back up gun of the same caliber (helps if magazines are interchangeable too)
twice the amount of ammo as listed on the class description
holsters/belts/mag carriers for each gun (i Like to run classes from a concealed holster but have the option to switch to OWB too)
ear and eye pro
extra batteries for ear pro and electronic sights (if being used)
trauma kit (good instructors will have several placed all over the range)
rain gear/cold weather gear
extra footwear
note taking material
food and water both snacks and a lunch with plenty of water for me) bonus if you bring some to share with class mates

Bring as many extra mags as you can muster, preload them all. This saves a lot of time during class

It mounts to any belt via velcro straps. Rifle mag versions and a mini dump pouch with same attachment method are also available. They allow you to turn your daily carry gun belt into a battle belt. I have these and have used them at multiple classes, they work great, are low profile, secure and relatively inexpensive.

This is my go to range/class day stuff. Just a couple quick squirts cleans and lubes, works very well for quick maintenance.
Bring at least two though, one for yourself and one for everyone else to bogart. That's how I know it works well, it's the stuff that everyone else at class wants to mooch.

I too am a proponent of preloaded mags. Last class I preloaded 20 mags. When I arrived to the class the instructor wanted us to randomly introduce dummy rounds, had to unload then reload. Oh well, it was still a good time.

I have a class at the end of the month with @OnSight Firearms Training and SuperDave - e-mail I got said to bring knee and elbow pads..

I'd recommend a printed-out navigation map in case the area has no cell signal.
