Sorry, gotta go to work.
Except personal feelings do not have to come in to play. It’s either constitutional or it’s not. You are either infringing on someone’s right to keep and bear arms or their First Amendment right to practice their religion or not.
It’s really that simple. The constitution is written in plain English. You are supposed to follow it whether you agree with it or not and if it says the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed than any infringement is an infringement.
Come on man! I’m using voice dictation as I’m driving to work to engage you!Sorry, gotta go to work.

If Scotus rules unjustly it’s not supposed to be followed and the judges are supposed to be removed when they render a law constitutional when it clearly isn’t.So when the SCOTUS rules, our highest court, will you follow that decision? That is how things were created from the start.
But seriously, gotta hit work
Get a waterproof phone, you're infringing on my right to argue with people I've never met on the internetI'm jumping in the shower, can't phone during that time.

If they say that a NY law on a total ban on free speech against politicians is constitutional and that the jail time of 10 years for speaking out on a politician is okay without a trial, it isn’t supposed to be followed. The police are supposed to refuse to enforce that law.
What part? Judges can be impeached. A Supreme Court Justice may be impeached by the House of Representatives and removed from office if convicted in a Senate trial, but only for the same types of offenses that would trigger impeachment proceedings for any other government official under Articles I and II of the Constitution. This is not what is written in the Constitution. Not even close
Does saying an announcement or pressing a button that automatically says it violate an Oath?@Marine Cpl don't forget to obey your oath too next time you are told to announce the searches of baggage on your train.
Touche.
There is no difference. An oath is an oath. Sometimes actions are louder than words.Does saying an announcement or pressing a button that automatically says it violate an Oath?
That doesn’t make sense. What actions are louder. Saying something which is a protected right to say or actually doing the search? There is no difference. An oath is an oath. Sometimes actions are louder than words.
You still participated. That doesn’t make sense. What actions are louder. Saying something which is a protected right to say or actually doing the search?
What? Are you drinking? He didn’t take it away from him and voucher the pistol? He let him keep it as he was booked right? lol. You are funny. You still participated.
It says the trooper gave an appearance ticket for court but did not confiscate the pistol.
He still participated.
I didn't see in the reading that he did. I may have missed it....... I actually do not recall the whole article after all the bickering. What? Are you drinking? He didn’t take it away from him and voucher the pistol? He let him keep it as he was booked right? lol. You are funny.
You don’t need to see it or read it. Basic knowledge on what happens when someone gets arrested is all that’s needed.I didn't see in the reading that he did. I may have missed it....... I actually do not recall the whole article after all the bickering.
BTW I'm drinking coffee.
It is not the job of the beat cop to decide Constitutionality.
Not trying to be a dick, But if they cannot determine Constitutionality , how could they uphold their oath?
The cop on the street letting Albany or Washington decide for them is a recipe for tyranny. Not sure. Constitutionality on many subjects is very tough to figure out. That is why I do not want a cop on the street to determine what is and what is not constitutional.
It does? Serious question.Oath, it ends when you leave the job, service.
"Jew forgot to wear his yellow star.Georgia man had a gun, no permit for NY. Didn't do his homework before entering NY, one of the most restricted states for handguns.
Cops do not debate law in the field, see-react-! They serve and protect. Georgia man violated the law, he pays the price.
Oath, it ends when you leave the job, service.
