In a display of hypocrisy that is now too common, here is an article from CNN demanding the same confirmation after First Lady Melania Trump avoided the public for 19 days after a minor operation.

Hypocrisy from the dems, this is not a surprise.

I still see the oral session in February as key. If she is unable to sit through those, it's going to be very difficult for anybody to pretend she is capable of performing her duties any longer. If it comes to that, and if she refuses to step down even though she's bedridden and cannot engage, the dems will not provide the votes necessary to have her removed.

I agree, it was major surgery if you're 25. Going under the knife to have a portion of one's lung removed is no joke at any age, let alone 85.

Some are positing that the cancer did not originate in her lung (and therefore remain there as her spokesman purports) but rather is an after effect or relapse of her pancreatic cancer, diagnosed in 2009.
