I decided to give up on having my Gen 4 slide to be milled to have the Gen 5 bull nose to have the Gen 5 PMM Comp fit properly. After speaking with a few milling companies, they say they would have to do it to a blank slide. The cost doesn’t outweigh the benefit. (Just gives me an excuse to get a Gen 5 at some point, lol). Instead of me buying a completely brand new slide and having it milled to the way I want, I’m going to send my factory 19 slide to a company and have it milled to a decent design that I like, get it milled for an RMR, also having the rear irons moved to the front of the RMR. As for the exact comp...I’m still trying to decide. I have thought of the Agency 417 also. I’ve been trying to think of the extra cost of the Agency comp is worth it?! Especially with the reviews of the TBRCi Stubby comp has good reviews and is about half the price.

@Edwardteach72 I don’t think I’ll be going with the PMM with my Gen 4 slide. I do like the feature of the Agency comp that I could install the front sight onto it if I wanted to. I also do like the aesthetics of the TBRCi Stubby and it does compensate pretty well also. So as of right now, it’s a toss up between the Agency and TBRCi.
I know that ATEi is the original creator of the Roland Special but they don’t offer some of the other slide work that I’m looking for. Not to mention they are on the very expensive side. I don’t mind the look of the comps on the Gen 4’s, I just liked the way the PMM mated up with the Gen 5’s. I can deal with my standard Gen 4 and comp and still be extremely happy with it.
@Edwardteach72 @OnSight Firearms Training As I’ve said in previous posts, I currently have my 19 frame out for framework. But today I finally placed the ordered to have the 19 slide milled. Now I just have to mail it out. It’s going to be getting angled front side serrations, straight top serrations, side windows and a top window up front, milled for an RMR, and having the irons moved to the front of the RMR. I’m making progress.

Also the strine industries is a joke, most reviews and tests on the first gen are getting something like a 4-6" shift in POA/POI ..
I’m sending it out on Wednesday to Dynamic Weapon Solutions. Was able to get a pretty good deal and I really like they’re milling work. This will by my first pistol with a red dot on it. But from what I’ve read and seen, it seems to be a better idea to have the irons in front of the RMR. You lose a little bit of sight radius, but that’s negligible. Irons are backup anyway. I’d rather optimize my main optics then my irons which I wouldn’t really be using anyway. Besides, if I decide to go with the Agency 417 comp, I can move my front sight to the comp and extend my sight radius almost back to the stock 19 sight radius length. I’ll attach a photo of what my slide will pretty much look like. Only two things that are different is that it’s missing the top front straight serrations around the top window cut and the rear irons being in front of the RMR.
Here’s on with the straight top front serrations.
Granted while I have both, both ways for irons work, I just like then in the front to help protect the glass and it also does seem to be less invasive in the window but after shooting dots for a little bit now I dont notice the rear sight either way.
As for the sight radius part (because Gabe Suarez says iron sights infront of the optic will get you killed, something to do with bigger penis vs smaller penis) its negligible at best, and like you said they are back up sights and the chances needing them is minimal.
And even still, irons forward is going to give you about the same radius as on a G26 and that's not terrible (for back ups)

Exactly, it’s human nature for your eye to want to focus on whatever is closest to it. So by moving the rear in front of the RMR it helps your eye pick up the dot that tiny bit faster. That’s also why I prefer blacked out irons, at least blacked out rears if I don’t have a red dot on it. Much less clutter in my view. The added benefit of protecting the glass of the RMR is great too.
I will say one benefit of my irons being rear of the RMR. Is I can toss a cover plate on and run the gun standard with no dots. I could do it with irons forward but it'd look goofy and then I would be making my primary sights radius smaller for no reason.
And I run both front and rear blacked out (ameriglo just like the Roland special) but that's because I also plan to have an x300u which negates the need for night sights or fiber optic
Nope, still want 9mm. Better ballistics and cheaper to shoot. I can shoot 9mm pretty well, I’ve done it for years. But I want to put together a really nice build. Some people say that putting a comp on a 9mm is pointless. But with mere physics, it’s physically impossible for it to not do anything. And if that little bit is better then not having it...why not have it?! And a comp works better with duty/carry loads like Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P. When shit hits the fan in a defensive situation, that’s what will be in my mags. Worst comes to worst, I can always take the comp off if I don’t want it anymore.Instead of looking a a compensator for a glock 19 a pistol in .380 might be a better option...

Which set of all black irons do you have? I’m looking for a set that are barely in the window. Like practically barely less then lower 1/3rd.

The angle makes them look like they take up more of the window than they actually do.
And for reference another shitty picture but of my P-07 (some blacked out rear glock sight idk what one, and a custom fit CZ front sight)
The irons on the CZ definitely look less obtrusive. Not sure if it’s because the irons are much lower than the ones on the Glock or because the rear irons are in front of the optic (possibly a combination of both).
Tbh I think it may have been the agnle of the photo (it's such a pain to try and get a focused photo with my phone and a dot)
Anyone on here know if I were to order one of Tier 1’s axis elite holsters, what Glock model would I have to order for it to cover the compensator? I’ve heard in some places that people order a holster for the Glock 34 for a 19 with a comp. is that correct?

I'd suggest still getting it "open ended" since a 19 with a comp is "like a G34 in size" and not the exact same size (idk if its longer or shorter, also depends on the size of the comp)
Now to decide between the Agency 417 single port or the TBRCi stubby. God the decisions... lol.

I belive so, I just told Mod-K to toss on blacked out Ameriglo sights when they did my slide. But I know Ameriglo has a bunch of different front and rear sizes
I just checked Ameriglo’s website and the GL-429 set is the shortest height wise out of all their blacked out suppressor sights.
