The complaint states GOA has more than 400 supporters in NY and then goes on to also mention members. What is the difference between supporters and members? Only 400 members in NY doesn't seem right. What am I missing?
An annual membership is only $25. My thinking is they could also use a boost in membership numbers, so I joined and gave a $50 donation and will give more soon.

Well he’s running out of time so he’s better hurry up. I would think this law will be set aside because of the huge impact it will have on constitutional rights in NYS and likely other very blue states of allowed to proceed. I’m expecting a stay while it goes through court.

Important takeaway: They just relieved all lifetime (non-expiring) license holders of the training, social media and interview requirements. That is a win already for most upstate licensees. Now it is just down to the sensitive locations.

I just finished my initial read of their reply. Interesting,… and of course they are not going down without a fight. I note:…the claim Plaintiff Antonyuk(SP) has no standing and has not yet been affected as the law is not yet in force…claim that he sued the wrong person (BRUEN) as he is not responsible for enforcement???…they claim that GOA and others have no right to sue per 2nd Circuit precedent??? (WTF?)…they still claim they can use Intermediate Scrutiny…claim that the world will go nuts if the law is struck down, and on and on and on.
Curiously, I found it interesting to read their claim that those of us who already have a permit (outside of NYC and Nassau and Suffolk counties) will NEVER have to be subject to the 18 hour training and live fire, or have to submit ourselves to social media scrutiny…yada, yada, yada. Supposedly, - they say our permits never expire!
I really hope GOA and others are on their game and cram it up their asses. What a pile of shit.
