Good deal, or wasted money?

So while I've been waiting for the permit process to progress, I've been getting a bit antsy. I've always liked the modularity of the Sig P250 but since I can't shoot one, I have no idea if I like it. I love the idea of the same gun in both 22lr and 9mm, and up until recently couldn't find either caliber gun cheap, nor could I find the exchange kit in either caliber in stock anywhere. Then I saw a 22lr compact pistol and a 9mm exchange kit, both new, for $300 each. To me, that's a friggin' bargain. Two new guns for six bills? I jumped on them right away. So, will I be glad I found them, or wish I had passed? Who had experience with these things?

Good or bad, It's only money. I'm not familiar with Sig, but I think you will be happy with your new purchase. Besides it will be CHEAP SHOOTING. People I know who shoot Sigs love them,I never shot one or owned one.

Only you can answer that question. Its the gun from which the striker fired P320 is derived. Some people take issue with the DAO trigger but practice and familiarity fixes everything.

That's what I was concerned about. People either love it or hate it. I figured at the very last it would help me learn good trigger control.

You can always sell it or trade itbif you don't like it. Maybe you will fall in to the love it camp.

I have a SIG 250, 320 and 227. By far my favorite handguns I own. I will admit, the DAO trigger takes some getting used to, however it doesn't affect it. Mine is in 45 ACP. Take some time and get used to it.

You got it cheap because many people hate the long trigger pull. I'm one of those people, but if your not it's a great gun and you'll love it.

I've been looking everywhere for a short trigger for it, but no dice. The long trigger might not be such a detriment for this particular gun for me. I figured I could use it to carry while at home and the long trigger could be that extra bit of safety.

For the 250 there is no aftermarket trigger available. There is for the 320, it's a flat trigger and i hear it is a huge improvement. It's on my list of things to try

It's all in what you like and are used to. That's why I don't like my kimber solo much. I bought the Springfield xd and shoot it way better. Therefore I'm more confident while shooting it and carrying it. I looked for a trigger for the solo too and have found nothing. The liberals can overcome the trigger, but I shoot low and left. It's much harder to not move the gun while pulling a longer heavier trigger than a shorter lighter one.

There is one out there, but it's no longer in production ads haven't found anyone with one in stock. The 320 is definitely in my future. Likely the only gun I'd get in FDE, except maybe an M9A3. If only new York didn't suck balls so much.

Yes NYS sucks balls. Cuomo especially does it.
