Love how the media keep spinning it that guy was an "off-duty" cop (heard that on quite a few msm outlets). Because only cops should have guns and be able to get the bad guys.
Law Enforcement or not, I am sure all the innocents around him were glad he was there.
I would be willing to bet that his training as a Law Enforcement officer kicked in just in time to use all the great skills he acquired as a Competitive shooter and instructor.
lol, what a bunch of scumbags. I get that not everyone who carries is a master with their gun, but I'd like to think that the majority of people carrying every day can shoot straight and could have shot that guy in Minnesota just as well. I'm not an expert and haven't been to the best training schools in the country, but I'm pretty sure I could hit a guy with a knife.
Sure, it changes a little if I have to shoot another person with a gun, but you don't need to be an expert. Just calm under pressure and somewhat accurate.
