Good o'l Hornady

Picked up a Box of this in support of Hornady Supporting NY and the 2nd A. Not sure of the quality but man that box is COOL!!!

Hornady makes some of the best ammo. Its also some of the most expensive. I do like to buy their 55gr HP match brass case when its on sale

Man I just stopped in Cabelas. .308 is the most scarce ammo on the shelf. Believe it or not this Ammo was amongst the cheapest they had in stock at $27 a box and only 2 box's of it on the self. The polymer tips are sweet too.

I'm still working out what 308 ammo my Galil like best. I should put some more American Eagle on paper, when I was sighting in I was seeing some really tight groups. Might be one of those goofball guns that likes flat base bullets better.

I use to drive OTR I am all local now. I got my son full time now. I drive for a local scrap metal yard. I do some short runs to Erie PA now and again but that's only about 2 hours one way 90 miles lol as far as I go

I have been getting sent to Phoenix a lot lately. Fine with me, that is a good run from PA. And I'll take the southwest over the northeast any damn day!

Arizona is nice the southwest is beautiful. And very gun friendly minus California

now Hornady needs to add to there ammo boxes ... Not Designed For NY Govt Use LOL ..

when i won my savage rifle i could pick any cal and went with .270 since its hard to find 308 at times ..
then i got into reloading so now it not a issue

I think the gun manufacturer should follow suit and stop selling to firearms to states that don't support the 2A label all there fire arms " for Civil use only" if a state has a mag ban then the gun sold the government should come with a 10 round magazine and labeled on the gun with use of 10 mags only.

I agree, the gun manufacturers and ammo companies can make a difference. But I don't trust them much either after what Springfield pulled a few years ago. I won't buy a Springfield either.

I shot that Hornady Black ammo yesterday. This stuff was Fantastic bench shooting.. I felt like this $27 box of Ammo had lower recoil and much better accuracy with tighter groups at the 100 yard line compared to a $20 Box of Federal Power Shok .308... I will use that Hornady as my Go to for zeroing.

I use Hornady American Whitetail, I especially like the .243 Win, 100 gr. BTSP. A Boat Tail bullet in .243 deer ammo, to help gain some range. Extremely accurate, and great brass for reloading. God Bless Hornady! Be buying some Precision Hunter 30/06 178 gr ELD-X soon too!
